Steve Bingham (Der Bling
Meister of Dayton,Ohio) won his first concours event at
his first try. Steve won
the BMW CCA Oktoberfest 2006 Concours "Super
Clean" category
with his gorgeous Shark, a 1984 BMW 633CSI.
" This was my first serious car show and I swear that a box
of gloves and Q-tips exploded in my car, lol. It was a
great time and a tremendous experience.
"The shine was all GlossHaus.......... I may have
told you but before SESF I had the car painted. So, I could
not do very much with it until it cured. The clear that
we used was to be a super duty, very hard and very clear.
well let me tell you, it is VERY hard. I was expecting
the paint to jump at me but it seemed to just lay there
being bored. There was a shine but under my 2 150 watt
lights I could see things I did not like. My obsessive-compulsive-self
started working on the paint before I got your kit with
some compound from the garage and I had Griot's 4 step
Polish. Worked on it for about a couple weeks, was a little
bit better but still not what I was looking for. Both products
left chalky stuff behind. When I got your kit I started
with each bottle and went over the horizontal areas about
3 times each. This got out more of the poor looks than
any of the others that I used. Then the GLAZE...............
I know I used almost a bottle just on my car....... Then
3-4 coats of the Carnauba... This took about a month, but
it was worth it, I got 95% of the look I wanted the other
5% is issues in the paint.
All of your products go on easy and come off great, leaving
very little residue behind. I am very happy with them and
will be restocking soon. "
