Porter Cable Random
Orbital Polisher

Glosshaus ships the Porter Cable Randon Orbital
Polisher (PC) with a two of its Kits. When the Porter Cable
(PC)
hit the market several years ago, it quickly became the
standard to which others had to measure up. It remains
the unchallenged leader in safely producing a beautiful
finish on your paint. You can not produce the same results
by hand that the PC can produce. The PC’s electronic,
variable-speed, 3.7 amp motor provides 2,500 to 6,000 orbits
per minute. The right-angled gearing system allows it to
maintain consistent speeds even when you're pressing it
down into the work. The PC ships with the larger 6” counterweight
which allows you to use larger 6” pads. This machine
offers relatively little vibration, and the large barrel
grip allows users to hold and operate the tool without
excessive hand fatigue. Users can opt to use the provided
screw-in handle. However, I prefer to use my PC without
the handle. I feel as if I have better control.
In the Glosshaus System, the user can safely use the PC
aggressively or mildly, depending on the distress level of
the paint. It is a machine that allows those who may have
been afraid of orbital buffers in the past to safely “work” their
paint to a finish that had only been imagined previously.
The 7336 also ships with a white polishing pad that can
be used, at your option, with GlossHaus FIII, Light Lotion
Compound. Personally I prefer to get the most utility I can
out of my gear and this pad gets used frequently as part
of my personal kit.
GlossHaus also ships the PC with a Flexible Polyeurethane
Hook and Loop backing plate which allows the user to quickly
mount the GlossHaus Pads.
